BREATHE - Moving Meditation and Free Form Dance
You are invited to an exploration of movement as meditation, to discover your truth, release tension, and find joy in the moment through the medium of music and silence, spirited dance and stillness. Come be yourself.
Breathing in and out is the most basic movement and our most intimate dance with life. Using techniques from many branches of intentional dance, mindfulness practice, and movement as self-discovery, BREATHE offers a space without judgment or expectation to explore, de-stress, and get your groove on.
No experience or partner is necessary. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Quietly arrive and depart when you want. We encourage you to conduct conversations outside the room in order to honor the space as a spiritual and personal environment. For your protection dancers must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by an adult. Please mute your cell phone. Breath is the essence of life and the heart of all dance. Come BREATHE with us.
